About the Course
Our Safe Sleep Essentials course explores the risk factors that can contribute to sudden unexpected death in infancy (SUDI), including SIDS and fatal sleep accidents. The course provides practical, evidence-based strategies to reduce these risks and help keep babies and toddlers safe in early childhood education and care settings.
Developed by Red Nose’s team of experts, this course is grounded in the latest scientific evidence and designed by education specialists to equip learners with the knowledge and confidence to ensure safe sleep for babies and toddlers up to 2 years old.
Who is This Course For?
This level of training is for all early childhood educators, carers, and family day care providers who are responsible for the day-to-day care of babies and toddlers up to 2 years old.
*All centre directors, team leaders, and those responsible for supervising sleeping infants, mentoring other staff, or developing sleep and rest policies should instead take our Safe Sleep Leaders & Infant Carers eLearning for more comprehensive training.
